Make this Christmas special by inviting your class, family or friends to visit a Nursing Home. Choose a small nursing home in your area. Call and ask if it would be all right to come and visit on Christmas Eve. Find out the number of patients.

Make homemade Christmas Cards. You can even put together little gift packages.

You can bring a portable CD player with Christmas Music.

Angel bears and sugar free candy canes

Jesus Teddy bears

Kleenex

Toothbrushes

Pretty soap for women

Deodorant for men

Ideas:

See if you can bring them into a meeting room and sing some familiar carols

Sing Christmas Carols

Have the kids do a quick play of the Christmas Story

Bring Cookies and punch to share together. get permission first.

Pass out gift bags and sugar free candy canes

If someone has a Polaroid, take pictures with each patient to give to them as a reminder of this special time.
