Shopping the Day after Thanksgiving? Black Friday Holiday Ads ONLINE- save time

Most people wait until Thanksgiving Day to buy that newspaper full of ads for the Day after Thanksgiving sales. However, if you Google “Black Friday Ads” on Thanksgiving, or a day or two before, you will find the ads online.

It makes it much cleaner to look through the ads and cut and past the sales into a Word Document, rather than trying to remember which flyer had what item on sale. In fact, you can go online with Toys R Us at midnight Thanksgiving and buy many of those items online that you would be standing in line for hours to get in the store. Most times, you can get free shipping if your order is big enough.

On top of this possibility, most stores will honor each other’s ads as long as you have the advertisement in hand to show them the price. It must be the exact item, but it is better than running all over town. So, check out the Ads online and buy the paper to take it with you. Write down your list, take a friend or adult family member to “divide and conquer.”

Going to Wal-Mart? Take a third person to wait at checkout with a cart. You can never get those carts through the mob of people, but it is no fun holding all those items in line either!

Do not forget you cup of hot cocoa or coffee, because Starbucks does not typically open until 6am.
